Gambian Congress Workshops - Post-Congress of the III WCPHN

Event organized by the NGO Nutrition Without Borders, in collaboration with the MRC International Group Field Station and the Government of the Republic of The Gambia.

The objective of this event is to analyze the contribution of different international actors in supporting national governments in reducing food insecurity and child malnutrition, and analyze the functions and interactions of the various organizations in the field. As a finale, the event will conclude with the preparation of a white paper for building nutritional resilience.

The format of the event is divided into two parts. The first consists of lectures and symposium sessions, where experts from international organizations involved in the field of child malnutrition will discuss the development of new strategies and perspectives. The second part consists of two field activities for the work of two organizations working in the field of research and cooperation. One activity is in the center of MRC in Keneba, and the other at the Center for Nutritional Recovery and Education (CREN) in Basse run by the NGO Nutrition Without Borders.
