Lectureship in Nutritional Sciences

LECTURESHIP IN NUTRITIONAL SCIENCES

The School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, University College Cork, is seeking to make a permanent full-time appointment in Nutritional Sciences to contribute to its research and teaching in that area.  Applications are invited for the above full-time permanent post.

Applicants must hold a doctoral qualification in Human Nutrition or a related area. The appointee will be required to contribute teaching to the BSc Nutritional Sciences (accredited by The Nutrition Society) and in nutrition modules across a range of other undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes and to develop an independent research programme(s) in the field of Nutritional Sciences which is compatible with the School.  Evidence of peer-reviewed publication and the potential to establish a programme of externally-funded research will also be expected.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate the capacity to complement and enhance existing research interests and themes within the School.
