Media & Communications Internship
The European Food Information Council (EUFIC) is recruiting a Media & Communications intern, to start in February 2011.
Internship description
As much as possible, we try to assign specific projects to interns, that they can "own" and see through to the end of their internship. The projects will vary, in line with EUFIC vision, mission and evolution. Tasks would include, but are not limited to:
* support media monitoring
* perform website statistical analysis
* update website content and contact databases
* perform stakeholder research
* assist in drafting reports and publications
Internship requirements
The successful applicant
* has a degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or website design and management, and an interest in statistical analysis, food science or physical activity
* must write in succinct English and be familiar with social media and web marketing
* is well organised, accurate and able to work independently
Internship conditions
Interns typically enjoy the following:
* 500-1000 € / month (depending on experience), 1-2 return flights Europe/Brussels
* multicultural workplace in the heart of Brussels
* a chance to learn from dedicated science communication professionals
